The Class A luxury community will offer 250 units in one-, two- and three-bedroom floor plans that average 1,055 square feet. At 17 stories tall, One Oak Brook Commons will also house a fitness center, club room, library, package facilities and bike storage. The community’s outdoor amenities include a heated pool, dog run, public lawn, cabanas, outdoor kitchens, and 420 parking spaces within a private deck.


Hartwig Mechanical, Inc. was awarded the mechanical contract on this project for $5,631,000. Along with all mechanical for this 17-story new build, there will be an 18th floor mechanical penthouse. For this development, 394 vertical stack heat pumps are being installed. Usage of cutting edge technology has gone into the planning process with the use of tremble points and 3D BIM modelling for pinpoint accuracy.

The Woodman’s Food Market in Bloomingdale is set on the 19-acre site to enclose the new stand-alone grocery store along with a car wash facility and gas/lube station. At 243,000 square feet, the new store’s interior will encompass about 5½ acres.


Hartwig Mechanical completed all heating, ventilation, air conditioning and process piping for this new build in a contract amount of $1,094,000.

Life Time Fitness will break ground in Lake Zurich, IL with a new facility for the community to enjoy. Construction of the new 125,000 square foot fitness facility will offer members more than just a gym to benefit from. Life Time offers access to many diverse programs such as swim, yoga, racquetball, cycling, Pilates classes, etc.


Hartwig was awarded the plumbing contract amount for this new facility of $1,671,024
