Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital

Hartwig Mechanical, Inc. provided its services for the 61,500 square foot 60-bed inpatient rehabilitation hospital in Libertyville, Illinois, to be named Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Libertyville. The hospital will feature a spacious therapy gym with advanced rehabilitation technologies, an activities of daily living suite, cafeteria and dining room, pharmacy and therapy courtyard.


Hartwig will be installing medical gas piping throughout the rehabilitation facility. Pre-fabricated Block bathrooms will be placed into the building where the medical gas lines will be installed. All duct work, ventilation, plumbing, fixtures, and a mechanical room will be completed on this new build.


Hartwig was awarded both the plumbing and mechanical contracts for $4,323,000.

Sheridan At River Forest — Harvard, IL — Hartwig Mechanical, Inc.

Sheridan at River Forest

$2,083,000 Project

The Sheridan at River Forest houses 92 assisted-living and 33 memory-care service apartments. The new construction occupies 1.5 acres and is made up of four floors. The ground floor consists of common spaces for programs, dining and 66 parking spaces. The second floor contains a mix of assisted-living and memory-care support spaces, with a landscaped courtyard for memory-care patients. The third floor consists of assisted living apartments, with a fourth floor rising in the middle of the building. Hartwig Mechanical, Inc. completed all of the plumbing and fixtures for this new build.


Hartwig Mechanical, Inc. was awarded the plumbing on this new build for $2,083,000.

Ignite Medical Resort McHenry is a 55,000-square-foot, 84-bed post-acute care facility serving the greater McHenry, Illinois area. The facility provides uncompromising luxury with best-in-class therapy, care, food, and service.
