Woods of Terra Springs

The Woods of Terra Springs is a proposed multi-family residential development located in Volo, IL. The development includes 240 rental units in 11 buildings, a clubhouse, and parking facilities.


Hartwig Mechanical, Inc. was awarded the plumbing contract on this new development and the heating contract on the community center for $2,931,000.

Hartwig Mechanical, Inc. was awarded all plumbing on this project. The new development is comprised of two, six-story buildings that house 280 luxury apartments and over 10,000-square-feet of retail and commercial space.


The south building, which will feature 175 luxury apartments, 10,000 square feet of retail along Washington Street and a restaurant with outdoor seating. Nearby streetscapes will also be rebuilt, the village said. A second phase will include more apartments, a parking garage and other components. The entire project is slated to include 245 apartments.


Hartwig was awarded the plumbing contracts on this phased development for $2,186,000.

Barwell Manor is a mixed rehab and new construction affordable development in Waukegan, IL. Construction on the 120 units was completed in just over two years.


Hartwig Mechanical, Inc. was awarded the $1,980,000 contract for all plumbing and gas piping for the development.

Embrace Community – Immanuel Residences

$1,072,000 Project

Immanuel Residences is a six-story building with 120 units for government subsidized housing for seniors and physically challenged adults. It is owned and operated by Embrace Living Communities in Downers Grove, IL. The building offers two large atrium’s where the residents are able to gather and join different group activities that are offered.


There is also a library, thrift store and beauty shop located on -site for the residents. Immanuel Residences was approved for minor site work and interior remodeling which Hartwig was awarded the mechanical contract of $1,072,000.

Melody Living

$2,633,800 Project

Melody Living is an assisted living and memory care community located in Lake in the Hills, IL. Melody Living offers seniors a variety of floor plans for residents who might be looking for something more spacious and similar to apartment living.


This is a new 90,000 square foot community holds 89 units making it very spacious and luxurious for seniors. Hartwig was awarded both the plumbing and mechanical contract of $2,633,800.
